Alberta Marketing News: When I studied marketing in college and university I used to read all of the marketing magazines: Ad Age, Marketing (Canada), etc. I quickly learned that these publications were useless for being a better marketer. Once a marketing tactic is published in a magazine, it's old. In all industries, marketing isn't about what's new in marketing (remember, if it's in a magazine it's old).
If you want real marketing news you have to do it yourself or have some good marketer friends.
